Local photos and records

WorkStamp Duo stores projects, original photos, stamped photos, front inset images, PDF exports, notes, address text, GPS coordinates, and settings locally in the app sandbox. The app does not create hosted photo links, cloud sync, accounts, or a web dashboard.

Camera and location

Camera access is used to take field-record photos. While Using location access is used to add GPS, accuracy, and address context to field records. The timestamp is created locally even when location is denied, and capture still works with missing location fields.

WorkStamp Duo does not upload coordinates or address text to a WorkStamp-owned backend or analytics service. To show a reverse-geocoded address and up to five nearby real-address candidates, the current coordinate and nearby-address search are processed by Apple's reverse-geocoding and MapKit services. WorkStamp Duo stores the selected result locally.

Weather is off by default. If you enable the weather field, the current coordinate is processed by Apple's WeatherKit service to request current conditions. WorkStamp Duo stores the returned weather snapshot with the local field record and displays the Apple-provided weather attribution.

Analytics

When configured, WorkStamp Duo uses PostHog for limited anonymous product analytics. Events use a random install id and whitelisted coarse properties such as counts, status values, device capability booleans, file-size buckets, latency buckets, and error codes.

Analytics must not include photos, images, PDFs, raw address text, latitude, longitude, project names, company names, notes, recipients, share text, email addresses, phone numbers, receipts, or payment credentials.

Purchases

The permanent Pro unlock is a non-consumable in-app purchase handled by Apple StoreKit. WorkStamp Duo stores a local entitlement cache and does not store payment credentials or App Store receipts.

Sharing

If you choose Email, SMS, WhatsApp, Teams, Slack, Google Chat, Copy, or More, selected local content is handed to Apple or the third-party destination you choose. WorkStamp Duo does not know whether you send it and does not log recipients or share text.
